Did you know...The Longhorn originally had many purposes including draught, beef and milk.  It was known for it's very high quality milk, it was actually believed more butter could be produced from Longhorn milk than from the same amount of milk from any other cattle breed.  However, today the Longhorn is now used mainly for beef.
