Now I bet your wondering who is Meggy and her moos. Well let's begin!

Meggys moos technically began 6 years ago, when we bought our first two highland cows, Fiona and Betty. Ever since then we've been addicted! The personalities and character of this breed is something so special and unique, I decided I had to share it with the world. So one day after having my car off the road and being stuck in the house bored out of my brain, I decided to pick up a paintbrush and try to recreate these beauties on a piece of paper. Voila, the real beginning of Meggy's Moos! In fact, 'The Morag' is the very first painting I've ever done!

Now i'm not exactly your normal farm girl! Unlike my partner, I didn't come from a farming background, in fact, my life revolved around dance and the thought of farming was nothing but a dream. I always thought you had to be born into that lifestyle or marry, oh how I was wrong! Not that it was easy, you can imagine the response I received when a female townie with no experience came knocking on the door looking for farm work! After taking any jobs and experience i could get my hands on, I worked my way up and invested the money into building our own flock and herd. And here we are today, farming in our own right! 

But that's enough about Meggy, let's talk about the moos! Each and every cow has a story to tell and is special in their own right, just like any human they're all different. That's why i don't just want to paint a picture, I want to introduce you to them along the way!
